Report on Guest speaker

Guest speaker: P. Manivannan
Date: 06-03-2009

On 6th of March we had Manivannan as a guest speaker who was former commissioner of Hubli-Dharwad. He spoke about life that death makes life more interesting. Short life span motivates us to do the things more enthusiastically and gives pleasure. If we had longer life then we will be lazy and postpone or neglect the work as we have still more time to do and think let’s take rest, will do afterwards etc. This made us idle and leads to low performance ultimately it affects on personality.
“God is jealous of man because he has no death as him”. Immortality doesn’t allow the god to do things in time. So as a human being we are enjoying like anything and leading family life. We have to think as if today only we live there is on life tomorrow. Then the things will happen and we will be capable to face any circumstances. It makes us fit to adjust with difficulties.
He told now you decide how many years do you want to live? If we really passionate to do something then long term isn’t necessary we replied. Thus he encouraged us to have eagerness towards work.
