Entrepreneur Motivational Training

Introduction
This module was taught by Mrs. Rita Sengupta for three days from 4th to 6th April 2009. She made them think in such a way that all their knowledge and imagination comes to mind. Fellows wrote what they felt about the activity which was assigned. EMT session was totally interactive and fellows actively participated and enjoyed learning.
Module Description
Mrs. Rita Sengupta started the class with a story about team participation. Then asked to make groups. They played game called “Treasure Hunt”. This activity made them to think critically as it was tricky. It was done to know that how well fellows can execute their ideas and thoughts in a short time. Later fellows wrote about themselves. It was all about their goals, strengths, experiences, and weaknesses. Then showed pictures and asked the participant to write story on it with imagination.
The instructor discussed achievement imagery, goal setting and steps to be followed to achieve the goal. Then fellows participated in ‘Tower Building’ game in which three people are involved. It was so exciting that the builder was following the other two person’s directions and putting the wooden cubes one upon the other. The theme was to analyze imagination and how well the guide directs and at the same time how well the builder judges it.
Key Points
The speaker discussed various aspects such as creative thinking, motivation, self confidence and introspection, planning and target setting, decision making and team work. These are the main qualities that make any task to win and there are eleven points in achievement imagery. They are need (n), activity (act), goal anticipation (ga+ and ga-), feelings (+ve and –ve), blocks/problems (BP and BW), help and achievement thema (ach th) altogether these are called as achievement imagery which leads towards success.
Learning
I learnt that success depends on one’s efforts including one’s plans to achieve the goal. If I am able to manage and commit to hard work then definitely there is no chance of failure. I always hope positive result and this module taught me being confident and one has to think logically before acting.
